Welcome To Watopia
Watopia is a fantasy island, including snowy mountains, epic climbs, and jungle roads, that exists within Zwift’s multiplayer online cycling and running physical training program. As Zwift prepared to open Watopia as a new virtual world to their global audience of athletes, they tasked Plural with creating more than 40 product tour and how-to videos to support the launch.
There’s an art to a well-executed product video. For Zwift’s Watopia launch, we constructed a custom set that emphasized the beauty, functionality, and athleticism of the Zwift bike. In addition to product design, we leaned into the highlights using cinematic lighting to elevate the bike and user from the background.
Our cinematic approach blended motion graphics, live-action, and animated gameplay to create a seamless experience.
