An authentic look into Kaitlin Guerin’s culinary past, present, and future.

Innocean and Swing Set Productions came to Plural for a branded documentary showcasing Lagniappe Bakery for Signature Kitchen Suite’s latest True to Food episode. This documentary-style episode hosted by celebrity food journalist, Mark Bittman takes the audience through Kaitlin’s neighborhood, her local farmers market, and into her kitchen as she creates the perfect pastry from start to finish.

Where does our food come from? This was an important question we wanted to explore in Episode 7. For Kaitlin, the answer was immediate. Every ounce of ingredients is locally sourced from her neighborhood farmers market to a selection of friends’ farms. For Kaitlin, the flavor is key to her success and this can only be achieved by hand-picking the best ingredients.

Cut downs and trailers are an essential part of our step. We know an audience needs to be hooked right away. We do this by focusing on the story and character first.
