An all-inclusive campaign for the relaunch of Cisco’s Webex app.

Cisco’s redesign of their iconic Webex App, centered around one goal: to be the one app for everything and everyone. This inclusive idea inspired the campaign, “Everybody’s In”.  - a statement that challenges the experiential and technical limitations of former virtual meeting spaces. 

At the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, as work-from-home and virtual meeting fatigue was reaching a peak, Cisco challenged our team to make virtual fun again. We created a global broadcast spot that highlighted the exciting enhancements to the Webex App. The relaunch campaign came together around a playful, abstract visual experience to inspire the future of hybrid work. 

 

John McNeil Studio and Cisco came to Plural looking for an imaginative way to re-introduce Webex to the world.

The campaign, anchored by a :60 broadcast spot, carefully balanced the Webex UI within an animated world that played with fun shapes and zed space. To achieve this, all shapes stayed beveled and true to the actual UI; circles to represent people and squares as containers or screens.

 

The re-launch campaign included a :60 second spot as well as :30 and :15 cutdowns for online and social broadcasts. The full-length spot, which highlighted each key product feature in a fun and elegant way, was distilled to deliver the same cohesive relaunch message in every time increment. 


From translation, gesture recognition, security, we paced the motion graphics around every feature of the new Webex platform.

This global broadcast spot reflected the key product features, app enhancements and delivered on the brand’s goal to be the one app for everything and everyone. “Everybody Is In” gave Cisco a bubbly, fresh re-launch campaign for their new Webex App, right when the world needed levity the most.
